Making Lemonade

This term our writing focus has been on writing procedures. Today we decided to write a procedure on how to make lemonade. Before we did this we decided to make our own lemonade. It was lots of fun, and very sour but also great motivation for the children to understand how procedures and instructions help us.







Here are some fabulous procedures by the children:

First we cut the lemon. Next we squeeze the juice out and put it in the jug. Then you put sugar and water in the jug. Last you stir it and drink it.

First you cut the lemon in half. Next you push the lemon onto a juicer. Then you pour the water and sugar into a jug. Last you sip it all up and it’s all gone.
